Hello, the site is almost done now. I have a new site which will soon be egamingnews.com, and everything will go there, and this site will shut down. Also, I will still post here a little in the next few weeks, but not as much. All of my news and rumors will now be posted here - blpgaming.com where I am now a writer at.
The new site will be live in about a month.

XBOX 360 Price Cut Confirmed
It is official. After many rumors going on, and ads from your local Walmart about a $299 XBOX 360 Elite, Microsoft has confirmed the price drop of the Elite console. The XBOX 360 Pro was formerly $299, but now Microsft has dropped the price of the Elite down to that price so to compete with the new price drop from the PS3 Slim. The XBOX 360 Pro will no longer be available.
Look out Nintendo. Everyone's dropping prices but you.

PlayOn Movie Channel/Netflix now on your Wii
It is official, you can now watch movies on the Wii...not the disc kind, and not the downloadable kind. Instead you can watch live streaming videos from Hulu, YouTube, Amazon, ESPN, and Netflix.
First on any computer in your home, you need the PlayOn Software. PlayOn offers a Free 14 Day Trial before you have to pay $40 if you want to keep it, which I think is worth it. This isn't it though. You do still have to pay for NetFlix obviously if you want to watch that, because you just sign into your NetFlix account through the PlayOn Channel.
First on any computer in your home, go to www.PlayOn.tv When you are there, you can read-up on the PlayOn program, and download and install the software. Now to view it on your Wii, you will need this program to be running on your computer while viewing the videos on your Wii, because the videos are streamed from your computer, not the Wii internet itself. When you have that running, turn on your Wii, and use the Wii internet browser (It costs 500 Wii Points to get it, but is oh-so worth it). Then go to www.playon.tv Now the movies will all be available. Make sure first though to make sure that in the settings of the PlayOn software in your computer, you have logged in to YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, or whatever else you want to watch. These settings save, and you automatically log in through the Wii.
Now this is an Open BETA, so there may be some issues, and I'm sure that when it is completed and goes Live, there will be an actualy Channel to download rather than having to go through the internet browser. It is well worth it though.

Modern Warfare Wii details expected (More), PS3 Slim, XBOX 360 price cut
First of all, sorry I haven't posted in quite some time. I was away for the weekend. Secondly, I know some of you may be avoiding telling friends about this site because it seems kind of amateur because of the .tk domain, but think about it. I was one of the FIRST websites to post the full details about Modern Warfare Wii, so I get the info to you fast. Also, that new professional site is expected sometime within the next month or two. It is up and ready to go, but just waiting for my friend to finish the servers that I can put it on so I can be in complete control of my website without some other stupid company hosting it.
Okay, here we go. So after the recent announcement (By me, of course) of all the details for Modern Warfare Wii (5 vs 5 online, host migration, EVERY map, EVERY mode, customizable controls, etc), Wii players still want more info. They want gameplay videos. When Gamestop announced the full details (I posted the details about 2 days before them, that's ow quick I was to find out the info), they said they are looking to be the first to bring us hands-on gameplay. They couldnt record any gameplay at GamesCom 2009 due to Copyright infractions and everything. But we should be seeing some realy gameplay videos sometime within the next weeks, hopefully ASAP.
Also, I'm sure you have already heard about it, but the PS3 Slim was announced at GamesCom 2009 at an outstanding price of $299. Although many people aren't exactly ready to buy one ASAP this September when it is available due to over-heating concerns, as well as noticing that the next-gen consoles are believe-it-or-not right around the corner withing the next 1-2 years or so. I would love to get one, but my Wii will last me for another 2 years, especially since there are huge games expected such as a full-featured Call of Duty:Modern Warfare, The Grinder, and The Conduit 2.
Lastly, Walmart is already starting to list the XBOX 360 Elite at $299. The Elite is expected to just completely bump the XBOX 360 Pro (Or standard to most) off shelves.

Full COD4 Wii Details released
I know the graphics looked only decent in the screenshots we saw, but those are not the final graphics. Treyarch has said they are barely at a BETA, and will make the graphics better. Also, these details will blow Wii owners away.
-5 vs 5 online (Improved over World at War wii's 4 vs 4)
-All game modes and all maps (Improved over World at War Wii's 50% of the maps, and 15% of the game modes)
-No Wii Speak or Motion Plus
-Host migrationg (Which means the game doesn't end anymore when the host leaves like it does in World at War Wii, it just looks for a new host)
THIS IS EXTREMELY GOOD NEWS.

New Modern Warfare Wii pictures
First of all, let's just say that my prediction was right. We haven't found out details, but we can see the graphics.
http://media.wii.ign.com/media/902/902591/imgs_1.html
Now first of all, yes, the graphics are only as good as World at War for the Wii. But do we really want The Conduit-type graphics? No. The reason why is because, why do you think The Conduit has no line achievements, unlockables, etc? Because the graphics are too good. The graphics use up too much of the Wii's system to allow good maps, a good number of maps, or even a good number of weapons. Meanwhile, Call of Duty has decent graphics, but with Modern Warfare it is expected that we will get most of the game modes, most of the maps, and even some glitch prevention. Also, glitch patches are now possible in case there are game-breaking glitches found. So just remember, graphics don't make a game, gameplay does. So since World at War for the Wii is the best FPS on the Wii, then Modern Warfare will soon become the best because it will have the same graphics, but even more features.

PS3 Slim rumors - TRUE!
It has been announced at this week's Gamescom in Cologne, Germany that Sony will be shipping out the PlayStation 3 Slim in September at an excellentprice of just $299. It has all of the same features as the regular Playstation 3, but it's just smaller. Me being a Wii owner, I'm bought. I might be getting this. it is definitely worth it.
Also this week, look for details on the site about Modern Warfare Wii. Nothing has been announced yet, but after yesterday's trailer and details on Modern Warfare:Mobilized for the Nintendo DS, it is very likely that now is the perfect time for us to see something about Modern Warfare Wii. I'm expecting most of the maps and modes (After a worker for IGN said this), and good graphics, along with 6 vs.6 online play. All of this has been stated by an IGN employee, along with that Treyarch has been working hard on a new Wii engine to creature better textures.

RUMOR: Modern Warfare Wii to be at Gamescom?
Gamescom, the second biggest gaming convention of the year behind only E3. What would be a better opportunity for Activision to announce details or at least screenshots for Call of Duty:Modern Warfare for the Wii? This is only a rumor, no details have been confirmed.

World at Wii not rushed enough???
Many Wii gamers of the First Person Shooter Genre have speculated that Treyarch rushed the Wii version of Call of Duty:World at War and didn't really care about the Wii version. This is completely wrong. According to Shonuff of Treyarch, Treyarch simply ran out of time while developing the Wii version. They only used approximately 2.7 GB out of the 4.5 GB that is on a Wii disk. So could Nazi Zombies have been possible on the Wii? Most definitely. Some may be asking right now, 'so why didn't they just push back the release date?' Well, Activision never delays games, especially Call of Duty which ALWAYS comes out on November 10th every single year. So why couldn't they just update the Wii version to fill up the space? Well, Nintendo does not allow the patching or changing of the .elf files which are required for large amounts of Downloadable Content as well as patches. However, just the other day it was announced that now Live SD card streaming is possible which means DLC will be possible on the Wii in the very near future. So what am I trying to get across here? Well many people have been saying that Call of Duty:Modern Warfare for the Wii which comes out this November, will be as bad as World at War. Which actually by the way, World at War has been ranked as the number 1 First Person Shooter on the Wii, so even of Modern Warfare is only as good as WAW, it will still be one of the best Wii games so far. But now that Treyarch has plenty of time with Modern Warfare for the Wii because they are just simply porting an already made version, they will still have an extra 1.8 GB of space, enough to add in all of the maps, and keep many more game modes from the original verion. Splitscreen offline might even be possible.

Double XP for The Conduit?
I have been communicating recently with multiple devs from High Voltage Software about a possible Double XP weekend or week to help keep players around. In turn, they have pitched the idea to the rest of the team, and are working on getting this done. The answer I got? "This is an excellent idea and we have been working on it. We would love to do this. But it all depends on if it is possible."
So if it is possible, we will definitely see Double XP for The Conduit. I will keep you update as I continue to talk with High Voltage Software.

Nintendo offers Live SD Streaming with GH5
Remember that Wii System Update about half a year ago which brought an SD card menu to the Wii? Yes, we were all so excited, until we found out that you still needed space on the Harddrive to use something from the SD card, and it had to go through that tiny Hard-drive first. Not any more. With the release of Guitar Hero 5, Nintendo will create another update so you can stream DLC/Wii Ware and Virtual Console games straight from the SD card. Is your Harddrive full? No Problem, just go get an SD Card. Songs from Guitar Hero 5 can be played straight from the SD card. Also, with arrivals such as The Grinder in Q1 2010, there could be DLC and Glitch patches after the release date with this new ability of the Wii. It seems as though Nintendo is finally starting to realize they have to be kind to third party companies.

Modern Wiifare to get it's own servers?
While there still has yet to be ANY details of ANY kind about Call of Duty:Modern Warfare for the Wii, there is already a rumor that the game will not be using Nintendo's servers. No, it will be using Activision's servers. This will allow for friend requests without having to input friend codes, the ability to use Wii Speak with anybody even if they are not your friend, DLC, glitch patches, etc. However, this is just a rumor. But if this is true, this is SO AWESOME!!! This game will be the best ever FPS on the Wii if this is true.

Call of Duty:MW talks heat up
After a couple of days of the new swirling around and excitement among WIi Hardcore players (Yes Nintendo, there is actually a large community on the Wii who only play violent games including myself), the talks are really heating up. First of all, this is a good time to announce that Modern Warfare 2 will not be released for the Wii this year as it was rumored to, but most likely a 2011 release for the Wii. Okay, now for Call of Duty:Modern Warfare (notice the 4 is missing). There are basically two kinds of people I have heard from and talked too.
Player type 1: I can't wait for this game, it is going to destroy Call of Duty World at War for the Wii, and even The Conduit. It will be so awesome with modern weapons, all of the maps, and 6 vs 6 online play along with Wii Speak compatability. I love you Treyarch.
Player type 2: Awwww, Treyarch, you know what they did to us last time, just look at World at War. This game will be exactly the same as World at War.
Okay, now here's what I think, I true video game knower: This game will be amazing, much better than both The Conduit and World at War for the Wii. Yes, Treyarch did make one mistake with World at War. They toned the graphics too much, they made an awful friend system that involved annoying pop-ups in the middle of the match, and they made it only 4 vs. 4. But now Treyarch has learned. I know for a fact they have been watching Wii players the last year and listening to us, and they know exactly what we want. I believe it will be like this - 5 vs 5 or 6 vs 6 online, all of the original maps (Not the map packs), all of the weapons, Wii Speak compatability, and at least 6 different game modes (Not all versions of TDM and FFA, I'm talking actual S&D, Headquarters, etc.). This game will be amazing, and sell an easy 2 million copies for Treyarch. Treyarch has an easy job right now just porting it over, they have no reason for not making it perfect.
Gameplay Trailers and videos are expected some time this month.

Another Combat Arms Patch
After many emails and forum posts on combatarms.nexon.net, Nexon released another patch to even out the new game mode "Quarantine" which involves the objective for the infected as trying to infect all of the humans, and the human objective is simply to stay alive. But it's not simple for the humans. Sure the humans have any weapon they want, but with 600 HP in the host zombies, and 450 HP in the recently infected zombies, they simply will not day. The humans have about a 1 in 100,000 chance of killing a zombie, and the humans only have 100 HP, so they get infected after one swipe. Oh, and another thing I forgot to mention, the zombies can run for an extremely long time. Out of the at least 100 rounds I played of "Quarantine Mode", there were literally only 4 rounds in which at least 1 human survived the whole three minutes? So what would nexon do? They just simply moved the zombie HP down to 300, but the host zombies are still at 600. Also, the Zombies can only sprint as long as humans can. So what was the outcome? Zombies still win just about every match as they still can't be killed.
So what should Nexon do now?
I suggest toning the host zombie HP down to 300, and the regular zombies down to 250 or so, or keep at 300. I can see how the objective of the mode isn't to kill the zombies though, so don't tone them down too much. I just suggest more maps for the mode, hopefully bigger maps to really make the zombies hunt, rather than a tiny little map where the Zombies can flank the humans from every direction. Also, making Humans SLIGHTLY faster than Zombies would help as well.

Call of Duty:Modern Warfare for the Wii Confirmed?
More sites are starting to write about the Call of Duty 4 coming to the Wii this November 10th. Also, GameFAQS.com has "Call of Duty:Modern Warfare" listed for the Wii. Notice that the "4" is missing as most likely the number will not be in there.
Still no official announcement from Activision.

Hope or no Hope for Modern Wiifare 2?
No Hope----GameBattles has taken off the Modern Warfare 2 Arena from the Wii Ladders
Hope----Activision just now announced a Nintendo DS version, and has yet to say "no" to questions asking if it will be out for the Wii.
