The Godfather all done
It's final, well.... at least that's what EA says. EA apparently is tired of taking the criticism. While the Godfather movies are world-known and very famous, the series of video games doesn't impress in the same way. After EA has taken heat from reviews on their latest game The Godfather 2, they've just said that they've had enough and won't make another Godfather video game. In my opinion the games are extremely fun, but apparently not in the eyes of other reporters. This doesn't necessarily mean the series is finished though. Another company could very well step in and take over if EA is true to their word.
Nintendo looking to Hardcore players
At first when I saw this, I immediately thought "Yes, finally!!! Nintendo has finally realized they will need to appeal to the Hardcore gamers as well!!" Well, that's not exactly what Nintendo means. According to Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aime, "We think we [can] win over the Halo audience with something like The Conduit, a multi-player, online, shooting experience, or Dead Space Extraction. And you know what? Once those people buy into Wii, they'll go buy Mario Kart or Wii Fit Plus." In other words.. 'yup, we'll get them with these new Hardcore games, and then Nintendo-fy them. Turn them into non hardcore gamers by turning their brain to mush.' Honestly Nintendo, I've had it. For those of you who haven't realized yet, I have a Wii. I had a Nintendo 64, I had a Nintendo Gamecube. And honestly, I'm done after this. I'm a little tired of Nintendo consoles not living up to the hype. Microsoft, here I come!!!!
