Send in requests to High Voltage Software
Now that The Conduit is out, HVS can start working on The Grinder (Even though I think The Conduit needs some updates to fix freezing, spawning in walls, and other glitches). You can send in requests to them through many different ways to request something in The Grinder. However, the main way is through feedback@high-voltage.com. They read all of their emails. They have already recieved many requests for a crossbow, so they are putting one in.

Wii getting movies?
Reports have it that Netflix has offered to bring live video streaming to the Wii, and if it doesn't work, Nintendo wants to do live video streaming anyways.
Also, The Conduit is AWESOME!!!

Activision Threatens to Leave Playstation 3

We may just be nearing the end of Sony and their video game days. While the Playstation 3 already drags well behind the XBOX 360 and Nintendo Wii sales-wise, now they're main publisher and who they work with might be gone. Activision said they are losing too much money, and obviously they are.
It's a shame too, because in my opinion the PS3 is the best game console out there. But Sony can't keep making systems that require huge deposits from peoples' bank accounts (including the PSP Go!) Come on Sony! The PSP Go! costs as much as the Wii! And when the PS3 was first released, it was $700!!! You can't compete in this economy with such high prices. You have to start thinking about more basic and family-friendly systems.

NEW Conduit multiplayer details (Must Read!)
Okay, some exciting new details have emerged about The Conduit. It's nice for Wii players to finally have a game where the designing company replies to pretty much every question.
- 8 character username limit (kinda stinks, but oh well)
-Wii Speak can be used in Public Matches (Thought for a while it might only be for private games.)
- No Rocket Jumps (Take that annoying glitchers)
- No booting hosts with bad connections (Nintendo won't allow it, but they do have a unique connection balancing system supposedly)
- 32 friend limit, but you can Wii Speak with friends of friends, so the max amount of people in the game that you can chat with is up to 1024 people!!!
- No annoying invites in the middle of a match. When you go online, you can view your friend list, and it will tell you who is on, and where they are playing. You can then join the game they're in and team up with them.
Note: I will have even more details soon on Wii Speak, as well as other ways to add friends.

No New XBOX 360 for Natal
While recent rumors were that Microsoft would be launching a new XBOX 360 to better utilize Project Natal, the Director of XBOX 460 Product Management announced that there are no plans for a new XBOX 360 any time soon. We'll just have to wait and see.

Corruption (Xbox Live, and Nintendo Wii)

XBOX Live "scratchy"
After Tuesday's Live maintenance which lasted about 24 hours, Live is having some problems. There have been frequent server errors, and laggy gameplay since the "server maintanence." I don't know what Microsoft did, but it has to be fixed soon
Nintendo Wii Failure
I strongly suggest if you have not updated your Wii to version 4.0, then DON'T. I already updated my Wii, and about 2 weeks after updating, I have been getting frequent disc read errors, server connection errors, and Wii Remote "spazzims."
There have been MANY other stories about after 2 weeks of updating, people have had many problems. Hopefully nintendo realizes this, and fixes it soon.
-On a better note, The XBOX 360 Arcade console now contains a 512 MB built in Harddrive.

The Conduit Report Card & Release date on the site
Many ratings have come about since The Conduit has been announced and shown in 2006 at E3. So now it's my turn. Also, from June 23-26, visit the site often for hourly gameplay videos and reviews about The Conduit, along with a Hardcore Conduit background.
Controls: A+ While the controls grade for many games can hurt the game in a huge way, The Conduit is completely controllable. The gamer has full rull over the controls and can set them and the HUD to however they want.
Weapons: A+ While there isn't as much weapon variety as in games like Call of Duty World at War, the weapons are almost perfectly balanced. In many other games there would always be at least one noob weapon that everybody used because of how beast it was. The best weapon to my knowledge would by the Deatomizer (Shoots a laser and kills enemies in seconds), but The laser only lasts about 4 seconds until you have to reload, and you only get 4 clips. So it's very balanced. Also, a shotgunner or person arming the SCAR could easily take out someone using the Mitonizer.
Players: A- Many people had hoped for a nice 8 vs. 8 online FPS, but unfortunately High Voltage Software had to cut that down to 6 vs. 6 to keep the graphics in tact. Still fun gameplay though.
Graphics: A+ By far the best game graphically I have EVER seen and experienced on the Wii. While online multiplayer graphics are toned down from what they are on single player, the visuals are still incredible.
Maps: B Only 7 maps that we know of. Still some interesting ones, but don't worry, the amound of game modes makes up for it.
Game Modes: A+ High Voltage Software continues to say there are 13 game modes, but we have only been notified of 11 specific game modes. So we might get 2 extras we don't know of at the time. There is so much variety in game modes, and there are so many that it should keep this game around for a while. 13 game modes easily destroys Call of Duty World at War's 4 main game modes.
Online Gameplay experience: B+ We have only seen gameplay on one map, and it didn't look that GREAT. It still looked fun, but I wasn't fully thrilled with everybody just charging and jumping all the time Halo-style. Although, we have to consider this was on the smallest map in the game. I expect the larger maps to take in some tactical gameplay.
Friend system: A- This is compared to other Wii game. Call of Duty never thrilled me with it's long 12 number friend codes, that BOTH people had to put in. The Conduit kind of jumps that, with just one having to put in the code (not confirmed), and also invites can quickly be sent to friends of friends. Voice chat also helps make up for the friend code experience.
Overall: A- (92%) While yes there are friend codes, not many maps, not many weapons, etc., there are still many great features. - Voice chat, many game modes, full control customization, and MORE. Full details on EVERYTHING will be on this site June 23rd.
-My Wii System Number (So when you get the game you can add me automatically and Wii Speak with me) - 7722-9515-6764-2208

The Conduit release pushed back in Europe

Sorry Europe gamers, you're going to have to wait a little longer. Not only did Europeans think they were getting the game June 12th and then find it was a typo (They weren't getting it until June 26th), but now the release date in Europe has been pushed back until July 10th. High Voltage Software says this is due to localization, and there will not be ANY changes to the USA release date which is currently June 23rd.

Call of Duty: Cold War?

Rumor has it that Call of Duty 7 will be based in the Cold War, as Treyarch and Activision are beginning to tire of the WWII theme along with the gamers out there. Having a Cold War based setting is definitely new to video games, but it makes perfect sense for Treyarch. Now that Infinity Ward is no longer part of the Call of Duty series, the Call of Duty games cannot all be in WWII times. Having this switch should help increase sales even more for Treyarch and Activision. There aren't any details or even any confirmation on this, but the setting of the game was leaked not too long ago.

The Conduit DLC?
A couple days ago, there was another interview with High Voltage Software's Eric Nofsinger. One of the questions was, "Will The Conduit have any kind of DLC after it's release?" And in reply, the statement was basically saying very soon. While in the past HVS only said for The Conduit 2 (sequel), but now he mentioned the new SD memory card Wii System Update, and that Nintendo is doing some great things to hopefully allow them to perform updates sooner.
So only time will tell.
- NOTE: Stop by gamingnews.tk from June 23-26 for live video gameplay and updates on The Conduit. The background of the site will also become Conduit featured.

New XBOX in 2010 & Wii DEMO play confirmed

New XBOX
After the released news of XBOX 360's Project Natal, Microsoft is very impressed with how this is going so far. So impressed, that in fact they even hinted at a new XBOX console very soon which will better utilize the motion-sensing camera. It will be almost just like the XBOX 360, but there will be many more features for Project Natal which will take motion-sensing gaming to a whole new level. If you haven't seen any videos of Natal, then you must. Check out YouTube and just search Project Natal. It will amaze you!
We have a heard a lot and seen a lot of these console updates and changes based on key products or features being released after the release of the console.
EXAMPLE: Playstation 2 begins airing Online multiplayer
-Playstation 3 is released with full online capabilities.
Nintendo Gamecube is released. Nintendo has ideas about motion controls.
-Wii is almost immediately released
Rumors about Wii HD coming since the uprising of the desire for HD gaming.
Wii Demo Play
No this isn't yet free downloadable demos for the Wii like what the 360 has. But this is appealing to new gamers. This system will be released with the release of New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii. What happens is if a player is stuck on a certain area, they can pause the game and see demo play to help them be guided to the end of the level. It begins with one game, but we may even soon see this in other Mario games, and maybe even Hardcore games.

Halo 3 ODST to be full price

Many have speculated that Halo 3 ODST should not be a full $60 because it is more like an expansion to Halo 3. Bungie wasn't buying it. And honestly, I'm not either. This game is far more than just an expansion. Just because it takes place at roughly the same time as Halo 3 does not mean it is just an add-on. This is a full game.
Also, Gamestop will be selling a Halo 3 ODST Collector's addition. This will cost $100, but it will be worth it. One incentive for buying this edition is a custom Halo UNSC controller. There are also 3 secial multiplayer maps, the maps from the Halo Mythic Map Pack, and an invitation to participate in the Halo Reach BETA.

Site update coming sooner than expected!!!
Yes, another site update already. Truthfully, the site has not lived up to its full potential. Having a site with a .tk name sounds amateur even though we are not amateur. Sometime in the next day or two, gamingnews.tk will become elitegamingnews.com!!! I will have an automatic re-direct link here so in the future if you visit this site, you can still automatically go to the new site. The ew site will feature more background and theme updates with more variety involved, I will have things such as YouTube videos, Google search, and even direct ways to Twitter right from the new site, and there will be more than just a blog. I do not have an exact timetable on the update seeing as how this is again in the hands of Sheamus Crowley my graphic designer/web update conductor. A big props goes to him on this.

God of War III

One of the hottest games at thisyear's E3 was God of War III. I know E3 was kind of a while ago, but honestly not much gaming news has happened today other than the release of Map Pack 2 for Call of Duty World at War.
For those of you that dont know about the God of War series, it is about this beastly guy named Kratos who basically seeks revenge on the gods for betraying him. He travels through the darkest places and takes out the largest monsters ever known to the video game world.
God of War III features stunning graphics. The textures are a full 4 times greater than the textures in God of War 2. That's just the main difference. The other new thing about God of War III is that there will be more and newer weapons fetured throughout this Greek mythology time period of God of War. But what I'm most interested in is all the blood!!! I have never seen a game so gory while still keeping its cool. Eventually believe it or not, there are games thae become to gory and unnecassary, but this is that perfect mix of Hardcore gameplay with a red background all over your screen while you play.
God of War III is currently scheduled to release March 30 of 2010.
Map Pack 2 problems
As there usually is something that goes wrong, something has gone wrong today in Treyarch's release of Map Pack 2 for Call of Duty World at War on the XBOX 360, and PS3. The XBOX 360 release has gone smoothly so far, but some countries in the Playstation Network had problems with it. So Treyarch is trying extremely hard to work on that issue. Also, the US release even went a little wrong, as some people aren't able to buy it yet, but should be "Within the hour" (JD_2020 twitter)
SITE UPDATE: IN 2-3 WEEKS GAMINGNEWS.TK WILL BE UPDATING FROM A BLOG TO A FULL-FLEDGED SITE WITH A .COM DOMAIN NAME. GAMINGNEWS.COM IS ALREADY TAKEN, BUT I WILL LET ALL OF YOU KNOW WHEN THE SITE GOES PRO AND CHANGES NAMES. THERE WILL ALSO BE A DIRECT LINK TO THERE FROM THIS SITE. BUT STILL KEEP VISITING.

Battlefield 3 confirmed, Criterion making Need for Speed

Battlefield 3
EA has officially announced that Battlefield 3 is in production. While we gamers knew that it was coming eventually, it is a bit reassuring and good to know that they are working on it right now. There is no release date set or any details on the game, but the release should be around late 2010 or early 2011.
Need For Speed
Criterion will be the developer of the next Need For Speed. They are known for their own racing series Burnout which I think is safe to say is usually just right behind Need For Speed in popularity. Now the development team will be moving into the Need For Speed series eliminating that big competitor.
Nintendo almost went Natal, Site update in 2-3 weeks.

Nintendo ALMOST stepped it up
That's right. The key word - ALMOST. Nintendo the last year or so was deciding on whether or not to bring a motion-sensing camera to the Wii much like Sony's eyetoy in order to make an excellent selling system even better. However, Nintendo felt as though there were too many questions to be asked before they could make that decision. They didn't even move forward with the plan when they heard rumors of new motion-sensing gameplay for the XBOX 360 and PS3. Maybe this is why stats show that many new gamers start out with Nintendo, and then there next console is a playstation (1,2, or 3).
Nintendo states that until questions such as 'How much will it cost?' 'How well will it perform?' And 'What will it take to make it work?' are answered, they dont know if they made the right decision right now by walking away from a motion sensing camera. Lucky for Nintendo though, this holiday season, Ubisoft will be releasing a game called Your Shape (Yes, another fitness game in this fitness gaming era. All started by Nintendo by the way). This game will come with a motion sensing camera that will put the person inside the game, and show their body on screen so the game can see exactly if they are doing anything wrong. This technoloy could eventually be used for such games as first-person shooter, fighting games, or even skateboarding games in the future.
PrestigeGaming.com???
That's right. In approximately 2-3 weeks, gamingnews.tk will become prestigegaming.com. That isn't the confirmed website name, but it sounds cool as of right now. The site will also be leaving it's blog format, and become a full-fledged website. This is all thanks to Sheamus Crowley (My graphic designer) and you the viewers. Make sure to keep telling your friends and family. The more viewers I get per day is the faster this site can transform!
XBOX Live down next Tuesday
Just to let all of you XBOX 360 gamers out there know, XBOX Live next Tuesday will be down for up to 24 hours for server maintenance.

Godfather series finished, Nintendo wants to lure in Halo audience.

The Godfather all done
It's final, well.... at least that's what EA says. EA apparently is tired of taking the criticism. While the Godfather movies are world-known and very famous, the series of video games doesn't impress in the same way. After EA has taken heat from reviews on their latest game The Godfather 2, they've just said that they've had enough and won't make another Godfather video game. In my opinion the games are extremely fun, but apparently not in the eyes of other reporters. This doesn't necessarily mean the series is finished though. Another company could very well step in and take over if EA is true to their word.
Nintendo looking to Hardcore players
At first when I saw this, I immediately thought "Yes, finally!!! Nintendo has finally realized they will need to appeal to the Hardcore gamers as well!!" Well, that's not exactly what Nintendo means. According to Nintendo President Reggie Fils-Aime, "We think we [can] win over the Halo audience with something like The Conduit, a multi-player, online, shooting experience, or Dead Space Extraction. And you know what? Once those people buy into Wii, they'll go buy Mario Kart or Wii Fit Plus." In other words.. 'yup, we'll get them with these new Hardcore games, and then Nintendo-fy them. Turn them into non hardcore gamers by turning their brain to mush.' Honestly Nintendo, I've had it. For those of you who haven't realized yet, I have a Wii. I had a Nintendo 64, I had a Nintendo Gamecube. And honestly, I'm done after this. I'm a little tired of Nintendo consoles not living up to the hype. Microsoft, here I come!!!!

Halo 3: ODST
So one of the hottest new arrivals is Halo 3 ODST. This is a sequel to one of the greatest games ever on the XBOX, but yet this sequel takes you back in time a little bit.
This all takes place in between Halo 2 and Halo 3. And the biggest part, you're not playing as Masterchief. Nope. Masterchief is somewhere else saving the universe. So instead you are a regular human, part of your ODST squad.
The game begins with you playing as The Rookie. Your squad however is not anywhere to be found after your ship crashes. It is just you alone in the dark, looking to fight through Covanent troops and find your squadron.
Now some aspects of the ODST that you will notice are different from Masterchief are...
-No Radar
-Noticeable visor display
-Cannot duel-wield weapons
-Run slower
-Don't jump as high
- Quote Joseph Staten: "But you can still T-Bag!"
Basically how Staten summarized it was that this is basically like the MasterChief from Halo Combat Evolved. Not only is your character not as powerful as Masterchief from Halo 2 and 3, but also the pistols are on-shot kills when you get a headshot. So this is a pretty classic look for those Halo Combat Evolved players like myself.
Anyways, it's a really in-depth look to Halo 3: ODST which looks just NASTY GOOD!!! The full demo can be viewed at http://xbox360.ign.com/dor/objects/852871/bungie-project-2/videos/halo3odst_e3demo_01_60809.html
Call of Duty World at War Map Pack 2

So as many of us are excited about Modern Warfare 2 being released in about 5 months, that is a fairly long wait. So what can we do in the mean time???
Sometime this June (Treyarch for some reason never really announces exact dates) Map Pack 2 will be live with 3 new Multiplayer maps, and 1 new zombie map. But the main addition that we all want is the zombie map.
This Zombie Map is called Shi No Numa which means "Zombie Swamp" in Japanese. This is the third zombie map so far after the original (Nacht Der Untoten) and the update from Map Pack 1 (Verukt). This by far seems the most intense and Hardcore.
The first Zombie map that was in the game was simple Nacht Der Untoten which pretty much was a traditional Zombie survival mode with scattered guns, unlockable rooms, and random boxes.
The second zombie map (Verukt - "Zombie Asylum) was much different. Not only was it twice as hard to kill those brain-eaters, but now Zombies could hurt you through the barriers, and they began gaining speed much earlier in the rounds. However now we saw perk-a-cola machines, and electric fences.
The third Zombie map (Coming this June - Shi No Numa) is an even better map. It features all the same difficulties as Verukt, along with Perk-a-cola machines and electric fences. However now Zombies are even faster, look a bit different, and there are "Hell Hounds." Hell Hounds randomly spawn anywhere in the map, and immediately charge at you at full speed. It's all worth it though. When you kill them, they EXPLODE!!! What's cooler than that?!?!
Check your XBOX 360, PC, and PS3 this month for Map Pack 2. (No Updates for Wii)
People angered over Left 4 Dead 2, Germany tries to ban violent games.

Left 4 Dead 2
While most are eagerly awaiting and excited about the release of the new Left 4 Dead 2 coming in November, there are also some fans angered by it. Many XBOX 360 and PC gamers feel as though Valve chopped down the first Left 4 Dead, and didn't put enough effort into it. Some think that Valve should have focused on creating a map pack or other form of DLC, rather than making fans spend another $60 for a brand new game. Many feel as though it's a rip-off to spend a total of around $120 for two games that together have only as much content as one game.
As for me, I think it's worth it for this new game. Any zombie game gets the "okay" in my book/blog. So I do encourage you to buy the game.
Germany Tries to Ban Violent Video Games.
After a High School shooting in Germany where a 17 year old student took 16 lives, Germany ministers and executives are trying to ban violent video games. This not only affects Germany, but also affects the companies that brought us FarCry and other Hardcore games in the US and other parts around the world.
Project Natal in DETAIL

So Microsoft brought us a good in-depth video of Natal. In case you haven't heard, Natal is Microsoft's new motion-sensing camera without the need of a motion-controller. At first I wasn't too sure of the idea or how it would work out, but I was quickly convinced after seeing it in use.
The first thing I noticed was the Nintendo feel to the commercial/video. It was a family of 4 all sitting on the couch playing a game together. We used to picture Microsoft by seeing someone sitting in their basement alone having a blast playing Halo 3. But not anymore.
I was extremely surprised that it is completely controller free. Just turn on the XBOX 360, use a pushing/pressing motion to choose the game, or simply wave your hand to scroll through your options. It almost reminded me of a touch screen TV, but you never have to leave your couch.
First we see a kung-fu master on screen, watching the pacing boy who he refers to as Ian in the living room. The master moves his head and eyes to watch him as he paces back and forth. Next, they fight. Standing in front of the TV without pushing a single button, they get right down to some kung-fu. The gamer easily wins with a nice round-house to his master's face. So stressing the family fun of it, we typically don't see a family having fun kicking old samurai masters, but this looks oh-so cool.
Now we have more of a team involved, as the sister of the boy we saw previously gets right into a racing game. She begins to fall behind the others while steering her imaginary wheel from the couch, so she pulls in for a pit-stop. The dad hops off the couch, changes a tire, and the daughter is ready to roll (literally :D)
Now probably the coolest aspect is the direct scan and capture aspect of the camera. Ian is sitting on the couch, obviously ready to play some type of skateboarding game, as he has a skateboard in his hand. But why does he have a real board if he's playing a video game? He holds the board up in front of him on each side, as the camera scans the board. He then goes back to the game, to select the board he wants to play with. And there it is on screen - Ian's skateboard.
Now we still may want more. I don't know how, but that doesn't impress ALL of us. So we then see the girl again standing in front of the TV. The camera begins scanning her face, and puts an animated image of her on screen. Pretty cool. Now her friend appears on screen, and her friend begins talking to her about some new dress she found that would look great on her. So her friend on screen starts scrolling through, until the image of the dress she found shows.
Finally, we see the two parents at night sitting on the couch together, all comfortable and cozy. The mother starts waving her hand to scroll through a selection of movies. She makes her pick, and they watch the whole movie together. At the end of the credits, she says "Good night," And the XBOX shuts off not at the push of a button, but at a movement of the mouth.
Overall, I am very impressed. This could become big, and possibly even put Nintendo in jeapordy. Nintendo does have plans for a camera, but it will be hard to create one as well made as Microsoft's. And Sony at this time, has just started planning a motion-sensing controller.
Sunday, June 7, 2009

Alright, time to provide some late coverage on E3's sneak peak of Valve's Left 4 Dead 2. When I first heard about it I was pretty surprised. Left 4 Dead has only been out a good 6 months and they're already releasing footage from the newest installment.
Here is some information that could be found in the teaser trailer:
- Left 4 Dead 2 will be released on November 12, 2009. Mark your calendars.
- Left 4 Dead 2 will be based in southern US, unlike it's predecessor which was based in New York City.
- The original Left 4 Dead was entirely during nighttime, which was presumably the only time zombies could walk the streets. However, the entire Left 4 Dead 2 teaser trailer was during the daytime, and zombies were still walking about as if it didn't bother them.
- The only melee attack available in the original Left 4 Dead was a good whack to the face with the stalk of your gun, however, in Left 4 Dead 2 it appears you will be able to use frying pans, chainsaws, and possibly a good many more weapons that do not require ammunition.
- Four new playable characters.
- A whole new arsenal of guns will be available.
- Despite the new melee weapons, the old "smash zombie skull with gun" will still be usable.
- Pipe bombs and Molotov cocktails will still be usable.
- Boomers and other special zombies from Left 4 Dead will still be making your day even better, but more special zombies will be added, including some new form of Tank.
Modern Warfare 2 BETA rumored for August.
I know it's just a rumor, and rumors aren't ALWAYS right. But this has taken on a form of its own. Supposedly the BETA for Modern Warfare 2 will be online and rolling in August of this year (about 3 months before the game's release.)
-Note: Tell your friends and family about this site too. It started off as a new creation but with the touch of a professional graphic designer, and an expected ".com" URL instead of .tk sometime this summer, this is becoming BIG!

What will the next gen consoles be like?
Honestly, nobody knows. Not even the companies themselves.
Although, I will say Microsoft is confident having this new motion-sensing camera will increase sales dramatically, bringing new gamers to the XBOX 360. They seem to be turning to Nintendo's ideas. I expect Microsoft to create motion-sensing controllers for the next XBOX.
Nintendo though, says they have no clue, and I don't have a clue either. Nintendo says they are unsure if they will continue with motion controls, or turn to make a Hardcore console. Now, Nintendo is not known for bringing in Hardcore gamers obviously, but all of this might change when releases such as The Conduit, and The Grinder are released for the Wii. Although I definitely expect that for Nintendo's new console, they will create a MUCH better Harddrive for more advanced games.
And as for Sony, I also expect they will go on in the future with motion controls, and possibly even simplify their new console. Sony has a history of creating too advanced game systems that go for sale at outrageous prices.

Fallout 3 DLC June 23rd
It seems like June 23rd will be coming even more of a big video game today, not only is The Conduit being released for the Wii, but Fallout 3 DLC has also been confirmed for PC, AND XBOX 360 ONLY!!! No date has been set yet for the DLC release for the Playstation 3.
The Conduit UK release date controversy

ATTENTION WII OWNERS (FUTURE THE CONDUIT BUYERS!!!) Many of you living in the UK have probably seen on websites such as gamefaqs.com or other sites that The Conduit is scheduled for release in the UK on June 12th! That is false! First of all, Europe releases are almost always after USA releases, so this made me question this when I saw the 12th of June posted. It was just a typing mistake. The Conduit release date is set for June 26th in the UK and other parts of Europe. The release date for the US is June 23rd. Sorry folks in Europe. I just had to make sure to clear this up so a bunch of you didnt waste a trip to your local gaming store on June 12th.
(Also, we've learned about a new character in The Conduit
-John Adams
-The commander of Trust.
-Also, we learn some more about the Trust. The Trust is a (kind of) secret government organization that is meant to protect the world and USA from alien attacks and such.)

XBOX 360 staying until 2015
Microsoft has confirmed that the XBOX 360 will be staying until 2015. This most likely means that you can expect a new XBOX console to be released somewhere from 2012-2013.
No Wii HD will be coming

Nintendo reportedly claims there is 'no reason for Wii HD.' And actually believe it or not, they're right. Nintendo already is the best console making business out there right now, so why try to fix what's not broken? And even if they did come out with a Wii HD, the average Wii game's graphics aren't that good anyways, so even having HD capabilities, the graphics wouldn't be very real. Although this may change in the next year or so as the Wii sees an evolution in gaming thanks to High Voltage Software. High Voltage has releases scheduled for both The Conduit and The Grinder, two games that have XBOX 360 or PS3 type graphics. The Conduit is due for release on June 23rd of this year (I know I'm getting it), and The Grinder is due for a mid to late 2010 release.

No Modern Warfare 2 for Wii
Thursday at E3 came and went, with no announcement of the Wii at all when mentioning Modern Warfare 2. In the past 2-3 weeks, there have been many rumors stating that Modern Warfare 2 might be coming to the Wii. If there was any better time for Infinity Ward to announce it, it would have been on Thursday during the Modern Warfare 2 live demo. The chance of a late release for a Wii version still isn't ruled out completely, but I would give it about a 10% chance.
Project Natal

Is Microsoft a copy cat? It seems so. Back in 2005, Nintendo came out with the new generation of video games - the Wii. So we all know that. But what was unique about the Wii? - It's motion controls. And now Microsoft has released details about Natal. Natal is a new motion sensing camera for the XBOX 360. We still have to wait another year, but we already know it takes exact moments from the player, and then portrays it in whatever game you are playing. Sounds interesting, but then Nintendo (Well Ubisoft on behalf of Nintendo) had a fire back of its own. Ubisoft announced a new Wii camera which will launch sometime around the holiday season of this year. The battle of the consoles just keeps getting better.
Big Day at E3 (Modern Warfare 2, The Grinder, Quantum)

Today's a very big day for new and Hardcore video games.
- MODERN WARFARE 2
-Being presented today
- We will have more details such as maybe online details and other features
- BIOSHOCK 2
- Announced a couple days ago, but now we have some really good details from a Walkthrough demo. The first thing we find out is that now the player plays as the first "Big Daddy." You are basically an unstoppable force. Almost nothing can hurt you. Along the way, you find "little sisters." There is now a new feature in Bioshock 2, where you can "adopt" the little sister. This puts them on your shoulder, and you two basically form an alliance. You need these little sisters to collect Adam. Adam is used to add on to your "Big Daddy" and become even more dangerous. However the process of collecting Adam is difficult and long, so you must protect the little sister as she is collecting the Adam. Sounds fun. I've always wanted to control an unstoppable force.
- QUANTUM
- definitely based off of Gears of War. This is a Third Person Shooter, where you play as some big beastly guy with massive weapons and explosives.
-THE GRINDER
- Becoming more and more popular already. The Wii's version of Left 4 Dead should be the game of the year in 2010.
New Wii Zelda in 2010
It's official. Nintendo eventually has announced a new Zelda game for the Wii. During Nintendo's press conference there was never any mention of a new Zelda for the Wii, but there was a new one announced for the Nintendo DS. Many reporters and gamers everywhere were very disappointed, but the next day, we got the good news.
Not much is known about the new Zelda yet, other than that it will arrive in about a year.

- NOTE: I know the site is a little boring right now. Version 2 update will be ready to go in about a week.
